According to a freedom of information (FOI) request filed by Press Association and reported by The Guardian during the last 5 months there were 24,473 attempts to access adult only – pornographic websites from mobile devices and computers in the Houses of Parliament. That is about 160 attempts a day.
The internet in the Houses of Parliament is mainly used by MPs, peers, and staff. Any attempts to access pornographic sites are blocked. However people continue trying to access such websites.
A parliamentary spokesman reported:
“All pornographic websites are blocked by parliament’s computer network. The vast majority of attempts to access them are not deliberate. The data shows requests to access websites, not visits to them.
“There are 8,500 computers on the parliamentary network, which are used by MPs, peers, their staff and staff of both Houses. This data also covers personal devices used when logged on to parliament’s guest wifi.”
Watching such video and photo content at office is not the best idea. However if you still want to access blocked adult sites you can use VPN service – virtual private network.
VPN encrypts all your traffic, so nobody can monitor your Internet activity.
Under the VPN your IP address is hidden so you can easily bypass all your office’s Internet restrictions!
This is safe and secure!
All you need to unban blocked sites are:
- Get VPN
- Setup VPN connection
- Enjoy your freedom on-line.
